Location & Hours

The Hawai’i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and the Hawai’i State Art Museum are located in the No. 1 Capitol District Building at 250 South Hotel Street in downtown Honolulu, at the intersection of South Hotel and Richards Street. The map below shows the location of the building as well as neighboring landmarks and parking facilities shown with the “P” parking symbol.

Museum Hours of Operation
Tuesday through Saturday
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

First Friday, the downtown gallery walk held on the first Friday of each month
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (galleries close at 8:30 p.m.)

Closed Sunday, Monday, and all state and federal holidays.
