Hurricane Lane: Museum, state offices closed August 23 – 24, 2018

UPDATE: the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum is CLOSED Saturday August 25, 2018

The Hawaiʻi State Art Museum and the office of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts will be closed Thursday and Friday, August 23 and 24, 2018, as the state prepares for severe weather resulting from Hurricane Lane. This closure is of the entire No. 1 Capitol District building, including other state government offices, the Artizen by MW cafe, and the HiSAM Museum Gallery Shop. As of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday August 22, 2018, the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum is scheduled to be open on Saturday, August 25, 2018, weather permitting.
