FIRST FRIDAY: Airforce Band of the PacificPosted on Jul 9, 2014 in
Please join us at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum for a great night of art and music with the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific – Hawai‘i.
With roots from the 501st Air Force Band based in Hickam Air Force Base active from 1947 to 1975, the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific – Hawai‘i was reborn in 1995 to bring the band back to the Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces. Consisting of four different ensembles, the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific – Hawai‘i provides engagements for military and public events throughout the Pacific.
First Friday is a downtown gallery walk held on the first Friday of every month. Galleries and museums, including the Hawai‘i State Art Museum, are open for the event which is free to the public. More details to come.
