Yay, Yayoi!

Join the creative artists of the Hawai‘i Stitchery & Fibre Arts Guild for dots of fun!

The Hawai`i Stitchery & Fibre Arts Guild will pay homage to the avant garde artist Yayoi Kusama, 88 years young, and still wow-ing us with her creative and inspiring use of dots! Test YOUR dot-abilities! PLUS ~ get ready for school with a 3-Ddot pencil-people project!

Second Saturday is a free event. Activities are available from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., while gallery hours for the museum are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Downtown streets aren’t crowded on the weekend, so walk, bike, take The Bus or drive to HiSAM on Second Saturday ($3 flat-rate parking across the street at Ali‘i Place, cash only; enter at 1099 Alakea St. Free parking available at City & County underground lot at Beretania and Alapai.)

Come see—it’s your art!
