The SFCA is a state government agency, administratively attached to the Department of Accounting and General Services (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes Chapter 9). Capitol Modern (Hawai‘i State Art Museum/HiSAM) is operated by the SFCA. All hiring for permanent jobs is done via the Hawai‘i Department of Human Resources Development (DHRD). Short- and long-range planning, preparation of grant proposals and budget estimates; surveys, formulation of specific projects or activities, development of appropriate relationships and preparation of contracts, etc. Requires broad knowledge of the visual and performing arts, and the ability to deal with individuals and groups on matters of culture and the arts as well as on matters dealing with contract arrangements, expenditures and other business details.

Contract Work (General)

  • For doing business with the state as a contractor, the State of Hawai‘i eProcurement (HiePro) is a system for issuing solicitations, receiving responses, and issuing notices of award.
