Art Acquisitions and Commissions
Artwork acquisitions and commissions are done through the Art in Public Places Program. For more information: Opportunities for Artists.
For doing business with the state as a contractor, the State of Hawai‘i eProcurement (HiePro) is a system for issuing solicitations, receiving responses, and issuing notices of award. Solicitations and awards are posted and searchable. State Foundation on Culture and the Arts solicitations have included graphic design services, printing services, photography, custom framing, artwork conservation and restoration. HIePRO is hosted by the Hawai‘i Information Consortium. Solicitation notices may be searched online at www.hiepro.ehawaii.gov. To find SFCA solicitations, search under Department: Accounting and General Services (the SFCA is administratively attached to the Department of Accounting and General Services). Please note that solicitations for Hawai‘i-only vendors will only be visible if you are logged in. For more information, go to State Procurement Office Frequently Asked Questions. For acquiring or updating a Certificate of Vendor Compliance, please visit Hawaii Compliance Express.
