Employment Opportunities at SFCA

SFCA is a state government agency, administratively attached to the Department of Accounting and General Services (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes Chapter 9). The Hawai‘i State Art Museum (HiSAM) is operated by the SFCA. All hiring for jobs is done via the Hawai‘i Department of Human Resources Development (DHRD). For careers and career opportunities within the state of Hawai‘i, please visit their website.

Job listings are posted in our website news blog, in the monthly email newsletter (subscribe here), as well as on our social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).

SFCA and HiSAM do not have an active internship program at this time.

Artwork acquisitions and commissions are done through the Art in Public Places Program. For more information: Opportunities for Artists.

For doing business with the state as a contractor, the State of Hawaii eProcurement (HiePro) is a system for issuing solicitations, receiving responses, and issuing notices of award. Solicitations and awards are posted and searchable.
