Entries are open for the 2023 Hawaiʻi Regional Scholastic Student Art Awards Competition! Deadline: December 15, 2023. All Hawaiʻi students grades 7-12 (ages 13+) are eligible. (note: 7th graders younger than age 13, keep an eye out for the 2023 Young Artists of Hawaiʻi competition and exhibition, which will be expanded to include grade 7 with no age restriction).

How to Enter

Go to ArtAndWriting.org/Awards/How-to-Enter for instructions on how to create a free account and begin uploading your entries. Entry fees for Hawaiʻi students are covered by the Hawaiʻi State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA). You should be able to proceed without paying an entry fee.

SFCA only acts as the regional affiliate for the art portion of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Hawaiʻi students looking to participate in the writing competition can enter through the Scholastic Western Region-At-Large.
