About the Transfer of Artworks
With the recent transfer of the Kakaʻako Waterfront Park from Hawaii Community Development Authority to the City & County of Honolulu, SFCA Staff are working on the transfer of two SFCA Art in Public Places Collection bronze sculptures at the park to the Honolulu Mayor’s Office on Culture and the Arts (MOCA); “ʻAno Lani: ʻAno Honua” by Linda Yamamoto, 1993, and “Lahui” by Sean Browne, 1992.
About the Honolulu Mayor’s Office on Culture and the Arts
MOCA’s mission is to promote the value of arts and culture throughout communities in the City and County of Honolulu. There are over 900 pieces in the MOCA collection, which can be viewed online in their Art in City Buildings Program Online Collections Database.
