Color Our Collections 2019

The New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) Library hosts Color Our Collections annually, inviting libraries, archives, and cultural institutions around the world to share coloring sheets and books created from their materials. This is the second year that the SFCA has participated.

This year for #ColorOurCollections week (February 4-8, 2019), the SFCA provided a coloring sheet of the 1918 Huc Mazelet Luquiens etching “Surf Riders-Waikiki”, which was most recently on view in the “MEN” exhibit at the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum. Please visit the Color Our Collections website to download a full size coloring sheet PDF: Color Our Collections 2019 (Hawaiʻi). The coloring sheet for 2018 is also available on their website.

View “Surf Riders-Waikiki” and other works in the Art in Public Places Collection in our online catalog, which is updated periodically to reflect changes in the collection. Search the catalog here: Art in Public Places online catalog.
