Call for student artists: 2024 Hawaiʻi Regional Scholastic Art Awards competition and exhibition

Submissions for the 2024 Hawaiʻi Regional Scholastic Art Awards competition are now open! All Hawaiʻi students grades 7-12 (ages 13 and up) are eligible. Gold Key award-winning artworks from the competition will be exhibited at Capitol Modern (Hawaiʻi State Art Museum) February 24 – March 23, 2024.

The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) will cover all entry costs associated with the Scholastics competition for Hawaiʻi public and public charter school students for the 2023-2024 school year. Private and home school students will have entry fees of $10 for each individual submission and $30 for each senior portfolio submission.

Submissions are submitted through the Art and Writing Awards online portal and are due by December 15, 2023. Learn more about how to enter on our student exhibitions page: SFCA.Hawaii.gov/student.
