About Color Our Collections
The New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) Library hosts Color Our Collections annually, inviting libraries, archives, and cultural institutions around the world to share coloring sheets and books created from their materials. This is the third year that the SFCA has participated.
This year for #ColorOurCollections week (February 3-7, 2020), the SFCA provided coloring sheets of the 1920 Huc Mazelet Luquiens etching “Surfing – The Breaking Wave” and the 1945 Huc Mazelet Luquiens drypoint etching “Halekulani”, both of which are currently on view in the “In Hawaiʻi” exhibit at the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum. Please visit the Color Our Collections website to download a full size coloring sheet PDF: Color Our Collections 2020 (Hawaiʻi). The coloring sheets for 2018 and 2019 are also available on their website.
View “Surfing – The Breaking Wave”, “Halekulani”, and other works in the Art in Public Places Collection in our online catalog, which is updated periodically to reflect changes in the collection. Search the catalog here: Art in Public Places online catalog.
