About the Event

The SFCA will be hosting an online Community Conversation for any organization who is interested around the topic of arts organization responses and support to schools online and in hybrid models this year.

The pandemic flares, and schools are forced to change their teaching models over and over. How do we, as the arts organizations in the state that work with and in the schools, respond? How do we best support schools without overwhelming teachers and principals? How can we make sure students still have access to quality arts experiences when how and what we teach needs to be reinvented?

Let’s take a moment to come together as arts organization to share ideas and stories of success and challenges we are still trying to address. We have both common and unique issues to deal with, but mostly we have each other. Bring a question. Bring an idea. Coming together might help us grow and get stronger as a community. At very least, we’ll feel supported and know we have colleagues out there ready to help.
