The SFCA office will be closed for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day state holiday. This closure includes the entire building and grounds, Capitol Modern (Hawaiʻi State Art Museum), front lawn, and Sculpture Garden.

Friday Night Tempo is a free, family-friendly evening of live music at Capitol Modern (Hawaiʻi State Art Museum). The galleries and Sculpture Garden will be open. This annual competition and exhibition features award-winning artworks by Hawaiʻi students grades 7-12. Friday, February 24 - Friday, March 23, 2024. The museum is open Monday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and evening hours during special events (First Friday, Friday Night Tempo).
