Hawaiʻi Students in 2020 Scholastic Student Art and Writing Awards National Exhibit

The 2020 Scholastic Student Art and Writing Awards National Exhibit can be explored online! Congratulations to Hawaiʻi students Gabrielle Ah Mook Sang (Iolani School), Clara Wu (Kalani High School), Addyssyn Oppegaard (University Laboratory School), Sun Joo Kim, Marielsa Sadio (Farrington High School) and Teanna Camara (Kalaheo High School), whose artworks are included in this national exhibit. The artworks were previously on display in the 2020 Hawaiʻi Regional Scholastic Student Art Awards exhibit at the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum.

The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) is the Hawaiʻi regional sponsor for the Scholastic Student Art Awards. The event offers students in grades 7-12, ages 13 and up, an opportunity to showcase their exemplary artwork and talent. It is part of the national Scholastic Art and Writing Awards program sponsored by the non-profit organizations Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.
