The federal Office of Management and Budget seeks public comments proposing changes to the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system. SOC is used by federal agencies (including the National Endowment for the Arts), labor analysts, and policymakers when examining and reporting data on artists and other cultural workers. Comments will be accepted until August 12, 2024 at regulations.gov.
