Administrative Services Assistant. Location: Honolulu, island of Oʻahu. Full-time permanent position.
Job description: This position plans, organizes, coordinates and directs all administrative staff services, advises and assists the Executive Director in internal management, fiscal and personnel staff functions; and performs other duties as required. Please note that this is not a secretarial, clerical, or office support position.
Duties include: Provide administrative support, including fiscal management; planning and budgeting; purchasing, inventory, and management of office equipment, data processing; management of requests for proposals for grants, subsidies, and purchases of service; contract preparation and processing of state, federal, and grants funds; monitoring and evaluating contracts for state and federal compliance; preparing federal grant applications and financial reports; securing and maintaining photocopier, postage, fax, and computer machines, and other office information services.
Qualifications include: graduate of an accredited college or university, a minimum of two and one-half years of progressively responsible professional work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform administrative assignments such as budget formulation and justification, fiscal operations and/or personnel administration, or experience which involves the analysis of programs and services to determine their effectiveness, achievement of program objectives, staffing, cost factors, and to participate in planning for future needs or for related management purposes.
Salary: $5,076 to $6,177 per month. Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant’s qualifications and other relevant factors.
