Nine Hawaiʻi Nonprofits to Receive $951,600 in Partnership Awards from the National Endowment for the Arts
HONOLULU—Nine Hawaiʻi nonprofits have been approved for a total of $ 951,600 in NEA FY 2021 partnership agreements to address priorities identified at the state and regional level. These funds will support the arts in areas such as cultural tourism, community revitalization, economic development, education, and health and human services.

- Garden Island Arts Council, $30,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Folk & Traditional Arts
Maui
- Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC), $30,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works
Oʻahu
- Bishop Museum, $30,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Museums
- Hawaii Academy of Performing Arts (aka The ARTS at Marks Garage), $10,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works
- Hawaiʻi State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) $750,700 for Partnerships (State & Regional)
- Hawaiʻi Women in Filmmaking, $20,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Media Arts
- Pacific Islanders in Communications, $20,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Media Arts
- Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL) $65,900 Partnerships (State & Regional)
- University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa $10,000 Grants for Arts Projects – Dance
