Hawai‘i Opera Theatre (HOT)

Hula Preservation Society (HPS)

Hula Preservation Society videos of concerts and documentaries. HPS’ archive and preservation efforts have been funded in part by the SFCA through grants. Suitable for all ages.

Honolulu Theatre for Youth

  • “The HI Way: Bringing Theatre into Your Home” by the Honolulu Theatre for Youth (HTY) is new digital content for families and children. The HI Way brings the magic of HTY’s educational stage performances and the resident ensemble’s creative energy into a digital format for viewing at home on any device. The program is broadcast on Hawaiʻi News Now TV stations (KHNL, KGMB and K4) and is also available online at HTYweb.org, HTY’s YouTube channel, and other streaming platforms. Made for kids, fun for all ages. As of June 1, the first season has wrapped up and new episodes will arrive this fall.
  • The HI Way Digital Classroom is designed for children to collaborate and create with HTY’s resident artists. Geared for elementary school aged children. As of May 22, the HI Way Digital Classroom is on a break. Check back or subscribe to the HTY newsletter for updates.
  • HTY Drama Education Online for Families: Creative activities for parents, children and families. The HTY Drama Education staff offer a variety of simple, engaging games and activities for parents and their children, for kids to explore together and for anyone to play through video chats! Have fun keeping your imagination in play.

Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra

  • HSO Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds: Movements of the collaborative piece “Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds” featured online, with interviews with the creators involved. There are opportunities for children to create art in response with activity sheets. Follow the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra on social media for updates.
  • HSO From Home: Digital content created by HSO musicians to help keep music in your lives, shared on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • HSO Musicians on Instagram Education Livestream Series starts Wednesday April 15.

Iona Contemporary Dance Theatre

IONA E-Season features videos of past productions, now available online. Please note that you will be asked to register with first name, last name, and email address to view the videos. Ideal for adult audiences.

Manoa Valley Theatre (MVT)
