Four artworks from the SFCA Art in Public Places Collection are on loan to a new exhibit at the Downtown Art Center in Honolulu. “Dance on the Edge of the Witches’ Cauldron” features five Hawaiʻi-based artists in an exhibit curated by Tom Klobe. Tom chose artists who, throughout their lives, pushed beyond all borders – dancing on the edge of the witches’ cauldron, balancing between fire on one side and boiling stew on the other. The works by Allyn Bromley, Sally French, Pat Hickman, Linda Kane, and Fred Roster include four artworks on loan from the SFCA Art in Public Places Collection:
- “Troubled Rainbow” screenprint by Allyn Bromley, 1982
- “Latitude A&F” screenprint by Allyn Bromley, 1988
- “Fumiko, Keeper of the Meek” digital print by Sally French, 2008
- “Introducing Ruddy Spuddy”, beeswax, oil paint on birch wood panel painting by Sally French, 1995
