Cover art: inspired by artist Mark Chai’s “ʻIwa Soaring” polycarbonate resin suspended sculpture at Mauka Terminal, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, the team at Library Creative adapted the motif of an ʻiwa bird. “ʻIwa Soaring” was commissioned for the airport by the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) and is in the SFCA Art in Public Places Collection, along with works created for Mauka Terminal by artists Satoru Abe, Sean Browne, and Doug Young.
